![]() Welcome to a short presentation about Occupied Staging, using some of our accessories. This home, new on the market today, is in old Atlantic Beach and this was a budget-priced job. This post is mostly pictures, such as our master, seen below…
After Picture One of the biggest problems, according to the agent, was clutter and no beachy anything. Most of the furniture and art had a too traditional feel. The Master ceiling was dark gray blue, the quilt was too “country” looking and there was no art. We did find a great bedspread and got rid of the colonial headboard. Some vintage coastal art worked beautifully to pull the look together.
Before Picture The living room was mostly in drab colors and the rug and furniture arrangement made the room feel cramped. After removing the rug, we opened up the conversation circle for more flexible traffic space. (Room Arrangement 101) Adding greenery and art transformed the space and connected the LR to the kitchen and dining room by the use of color continuity. (Color 101)
Before Picture The dining room led to a beautiful view of the cozy porch and amazing trees. We mainly needed to remove things to avoid distractions from the gorgeous outside. The view was the focal point.
After Picture After removing most of the extra furniture and accessories, we added coastal art and a simple centerpiece. (Art 101)
Before Picture In the kitchen, we removed a lot and added strategic pops of color.
After picture The class includes a list of recommended accessories for kitchens. We also set the bar for breakfast, which isn’t shown in this picture. The dishes and napkins reflect all the colors in the added art, pillows and greenery containers. (Accessories 101)
Before Picture The online pictures can be seen at 1825 Ocean Grove in Atlantic Beach. Just put on the market today.
