The weather was glorious for the Memorial Week-end. There continued to be an East breeze and the outgoing tide left plenty of space for all beach activities… swimming, surfing, fishing, reading, sleeping.
We experimented with the new kayak and decided the calmer waters of Huegonot Part and Ft. George may suit these inexperienced paddlers better. I’ll let you know how we do.
On our very first kayak adventure at Hanna Park last year, a live mullet jumped out of the water and down my t-shirt. My scream reached into south Georgia. I’m sure the fish was as distressed as I was. Do mullets have ears?
